Just spent three nights at Beaverbrook Town House and have to say it was incredible. Room was spacious, well designed, and comfortable. Loved the anteroom with closet and minibar. The reception staff (Emily!!) were just incredible. Funny, friendly, helpful. I asked if they had blue cheese stuffed olives at the bar and while they didn't, some were procured! And had multiple meals at the Fuji Grill where the food was amazing (pumpkin wontons for the win) and service (Dan!!) top notch. Unfortunately the HUGE miss was the reservations staff. I received an e-mail confirming my reservation and offering to help or answer questions -- I replied with a couple of questions about my stay and never heard back. Then I called the day before my arrival with a question about my reservation, couldn't get through to the reservations team and was told they would call me back. They never did. Upon arriving in London I went to the property in person with a question about my reservation and it took FOUR hours to get a reply. That reply was vague and required me to send a follow up message to get clarity. Just insanely discourteous and unprofessional reservations staff which does a disservice to the incredible approach from the on-site team.
Went for dinner at the Japanese grill. The pre-dinner drinks at the cosy bar was well worth the evening pause. The bar and lobby area is tastefully appointed and a welcome reprieve from the incessant traffic off Sloane street. The wagyu was definitely the highlight of the Japanese menu and certainly reflected in the price. The spinach salad and the tempura prawns was a good starter combination. A great evening out on the whole!
This hotel was recommended to us by friends and we are so happy about it. One of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in and we travel the world. Excellent location, very intimate hotel but with a fabulous buzz in the restaurant. Fuji Grill restaurant is outstanding! Staff were fantastic, room was gorgeous with a view of the gardens, housekeeping was on point, honestly not a thing to fault here! Highly recommended
Really nice and quiet local Japanese restaurant- attentive service, great simple food. I go a lot as perfect for a nice quick but smart meal day or evening. Nice atmosphere and presentation and food is really surprisingly good as someone who is very picky about proper Japanese food.
A hidden gem in Chelsea. I went for a Staycation and I can’t wait to return. The rooms are stunning, designed by Nicola Harding and very spacious. For dinner we tried their Japanese restaurant, The Fuji Grill. They’ve launched a new Tapasu menu with is divine and have Bento Boxes. Amazing options for Veg & Vegans. Service is fab as well. For breakfast, I had their famous Avocado on Toast. Thank you all!!!
Sir Frank's Bar at Beaverbook Town House is a hidden gem moments from Sloane Square. The Japanese-inspired Art Deco decor creates a beautiful and sophisticated atmosphere. The staff are professional and attentive. The bar makes excellent cocktails and has an interesting Japanese bar food menu. It's a perfect spot for a pre- or post-dinner drink.
I don’t stay at the hotel, but I really enjoy having meetings in the bar and tea area. Full of details. Pretty quiet and private vibe. There’s also a Japanese restaurant right next to the bar—and I almost forgot, there’s a dessert section near the front entrance too! Big thanks to my friend for introducing me to this place. Service rating was for the bar / tea service. Highly recommended for both business and casual meetings.
I booked 7 rooms at Beaverbrook Town House for me and a number of friends during August 2024 and we all had the most incredible stay! Everyone who works at Beaverbrook Town House was such a pleasure to work with throughout the booking process and over our 3 night stay! They were extremely accomodating to our group and made our stay extra special. Everything from the decor to amenities to food to vibe of the Town House is perfection and I will forever cherish my stay there. Can't wait to come back already! Thank you to the entire Beaverbrook Town House team! We are forever grateful.
